ジジイのGlen Plaid Jacket from TIE YOUR TIE, Spring & Summer

この春夏向けのTIE YOUR TIEのジャケットは、広い意味ではチェック柄のジャケットですが、正確にはグレン・プレイド・ジャケットと呼ばれています。生地素材は軽やかなサマーウールです。

This jacket for spring and summer from TIE YOUR TIE is a checked jacket in the broad sense, but more accurately it is called a Glen Plaid jacket. The fabric is light summer wool.

冬でも、少し暖かい日などは、上にウールのコートを羽織ればよいので、2月ぐらいからでも、春を意識してわたしは使っています。オフィスの中は暖房が効いていますから、室内では問題ないです。

Even in winter, on slightly warmer days, you can just throw on a wool coat over it, so I use it from around February with spring in mind. The heating is on in the office, so it's no problem indoors.

このグレン・プレイド・ジャケットは、フィレンツェのメンズストア「TIE YOUR TIE 」オーナーだった故フランコ・ミヌッチさんがお気に入りでよくお召しになっていた（下写真参考）ので、わたしも欲しくなって購入したものです。

This Glen Plaid jacket was a favorite of the late Franco Minucci, owner of the Florence men's store "TIE YOUR TIE," and he often wore it (see photo below), so I wanted one myself and bought it.

このジャケットは、ナポリ仕立ての技法を取り入れて日本のファクトリーで仕立てられています。

This jacket is made in a factory in Japan using Neapolitan tailoring techniques.
