ジジイのCashmere Jacket from KITON per Franco Minucci

イタリアメンズファッション聖地「Pitti Uomo」の「羅針盤」と称された故フランコミヌッチさんがご健在の頃に、TIE YOUR TIE青山（閉店）がKITONに別注したカシミヤジャケットです。

This cashmere jacket was specially commissioned by TIE YOUR TIE Aoyama (now closed) from KITON when the late Franco Minucci, known as the "compass" of Pitti Uomo, the mecca of Italian men's fashion, was still alive.

オンラインマガジン「ぼくのおじさん」の加賀健二さん（元TIE YOUR TIEアジア代表）へのインタビューによると、フランコさんのこだわりで、肩パッドなし、アームホール細め、ドロップ８など18箇所も独自の仕様でKITONが仕立てたものだとのこと。

According to an interview with Kenji Kaga (former representative of TIE YOUR TIE ASIA) in the online magazine "Boku no Ojisan," KITON tailored the suit to Franco's specifications in 18 places, including no shoulder pads, narrow armholes, and an 8-drop.

当時は、加賀さんがフランコさんとKITON総帥の故チロ・パオーネさんの前でアイテムのバイイングされていたと前出の記事にあるので、このジャケットを買い付ける際もそうだったのかもしれません。

The aforementioned article states that at the time, Kaga-san was buying items in front of Franco and the late Ciro Paone, head of KITON, so this may have been the case when he purchased this jacket.

ということで、ジジイにとっては、単なるカシミヤジャケットではなく、今はもはや入手不可能な貴重なジャケットであり、大袈裟にいえば、KITONとフランコミヌッチさんがクリエイトした美術工芸品を着ている感覚です。価格は2010年当時のTIE YOUR TIE青山での販売価格¥693,000 そのままです。

So, for me, it's not just a cashmere jacket, but a precious jacket that is no longer available, and to put it dramatically, it feels like I'm wearing a work of art created by KITON and Franco Minucci. The price remains the same as the selling price of ¥693,000 at TIE YOUR TIE Aoyama in 2010.

普通の古着屋さんにはない価格設定にしていますが、もはや入手不可能なことと、2010年の円ユーロレートは116円で2024年12月のそれは160円ですから、約1.4倍であることを考えますと、同じものをKITONに別注すると、単純計算ですが、¥955,862となります。だから、当時の価格のままでもお得だと考えることもできます。

The prices are not available at regular second-hand shops, but considering that they are no longer available and that the yen-to-euro exchange rate in 2010 was 116 yen and will be 160 yen in December 2024, which is about 1.4 times the exchange rate, if you were to order the same item from KITON, the simple calculation would be 955,862 yen. Therefore, you could consider it a good deal even if you kept the price at the time.
