ジジイのSolaro Suit from Liverano

このスーツは、英国の老舗生地マーチャントであるスミス・ウーレンズのソラーロ生地を使ってLiverano＆Liverano で仕立てたものです。ソラーロ生地は、スミス・ウーレンズが開発したもので、商標になっているそうです。

This suit was made by Liverano & Liverano using Solaro fabric from Smith Woollens, a long-established British fabric merchant. Solaro fabric was developed by Smith Woollens and is apparently a trademark of the company.

ソラーロという生地は、太陽熱を柔らげる効果があるとのことで、本来、春夏のものですが、冬でも2月や3月の春を感じはじめる日ぐらいから、私は着用しています。

Solaro fabric is said to have the effect of softening the heat of the sun, so although it is originally a spring/summer fabric, I wear it in winter from around February or March, when spring begins to be felt.

縦糸と横糸が違う色の糸で織り込まれていて、ファブリックの表の色と裏の色が上の写真のように違う色になっています。

The warp and weft threads are woven with different colored threads, so the front and back of the fabric are different colors, as shown in the photo above.
