究極の「普通」、Simple ＆Chic なNavy Jacket

写真と動画で着用しているジャケットは、ジジイが「Pitti Uomoの羅針盤」と称された気代の洒落者、故フランコ・ミヌッチ氏（下写真）が2008年に来日した際に直接依頼して、彼に採寸してもらい、フィレンツェのテイラー、サルトリアセミナーラで仕立てたクラシックなジャケットです。このジャケットは、フランコさんが愛用するネイビージャケットと同じドーメルの生地で仕立てています。

The jacket worn in the photos and video is a classic jacket that was ordered by the late Franco Minucci (pictured below), a fashionable man known as the "compass of Pitti Uomo," when he visited Japan in 2008. I had Minucci take my measurements and tailor it at the Florentine tailor, Sartoria Seminara. This jacket is made from the same Dormeuil fabric as Franco's favorite navy jacket.

ジャケットの特徴 / This jacket features

シンプルでシックであり、究極の「普通」であることです。そして、私の顔の大きさを見事に補うよう肩幅を少し長めにしていることです。このちょっとした補正は既製品ではできませんが、パターンオーダーなら可能です。

It's simple, chic, and the ultimate in "ordinary." And the shoulders are a little longer to perfectly complement the large size of my face. This slight adjustment can't be done with a ready-made one, but it is possible with a custom-made pattern.

ちなみに、わたしがこのジャケットを仕立てたのは2008年です。2025年で17年経過した今もいちばんのお気に入りですから、ずっと愛用できるジャケットになると思います。

By the way, I had this jacket tailored in 2008. It's been 17 years since then, and it's still my favorite, so I think it's a jacket I can wear for a long time.
