ジジイのChic Grey Suit from Tindaro De Luca

ミラノのサルトリア、故ティンダロ・デ・ルカさんがご自分用に仕立てたシックなグレイスーツです。

This chic gray suit was tailored for me by the late Milanese tailor Tindaro De Luca.

このスーツの生地は、ウィリアム ハルステッドのモヘア生地です。肌触りは、シャリっとしていて暑い季節には最適ですが、かなりしっかりした生地なのでオールシーズン着用できます。

The suit is made of mohair by William Halstead. It feels crisp and is perfect for hot weather, but the fabric is quite sturdy so it can be worn all year round.

このスーツは、重みもしっかりあるのに、スーツを着ているというストレスが全くないです。それはティンダロ・デ・ルカさんの仕立て技術の素晴らしさ故でしょう。

Although this suit is quite heavy, there is no stress in wearing it. This is probably due to Tindaro De Luca's superb tailoring skills.

例えば、下の写真の本切羽の仕上げは丁寧で芸術的、彼の仕立て技術の高さの象徴だと思います。

For example, the finishing of the genuine cuffs in the photo below is careful and artistic, and I think it symbolizes the high level of his tailoring skills.

ジジイは、フィレンツェやナポリのサルトリアでもスーツを仕立てたことがありますが、スーツを纏った時の感動はティンダロ・デ・ルカのスーツが初めてです。

I have had suits tailored by tailors in Florence and Naples, but a Tindaro De Luca suit is the first time I have felt such excitement wearing one.

股下サイズが私のサイズより小さいのですが、ショートブーツを合わせるとぴったりです。このスーツのようなヴィンテージアイテムを購入する際は、靴に合わせて股下サイズを考えるのも楽しいです。

The inseam size is smaller than my size, but it fits perfectly with short boots. When purchasing vintage items like this suit, it's fun to consider the inseam size to match your shoes.
